Jesus and the Kingdom of God
Jesus is not just concerned about you going to haven when you die, he wants you to experience some of heaven while on earth. Everywhere he went he preached the Good News that the Kingdom of God was at hand (Mark 1:15). This means God's government is now able to rule on earth and with that government ruling in peoples lives comes great blessings. Jesus demonstrated the government of God or the Kingdom of Heaven on earth in many ways. But the most powerful way was in the exorcising of tormenting demons and the physical healing of broken bodies. It was with great power he demonstrated that he had authority to command healing and deliverance. Even his opponents couldn't refute the wonderful meracal of God's kingdom being demonstrated before them.
